load_binary

Tools / Load · changes state

Load a PE, ELF or Mach-O file (a fat Mach-O: its x86-64 slice), or any other file as raw bytes, as the current program; returns its summary. pdb=false skips the companion PDB; entry_file_offset overrides the entry; arch maps raw code or a dump.

Parameters

archstring

Raw code or a dump: map its bytes as this arch.

arm64

basestring

With arch: the file's address (default 0).

entrystring

With arch: entry address (default first executable byte).

entry_file_offsetinteger

File offset to use as the entry instead of the header's.

pathstringrequired

Path to the binary on disk (PE, ELF, Mach-O, or any file as raw bytes).

pdbboolean

Apply the companion PDB the debug record names (default true).

regionsstring

With arch, not base: VA@OFF:LEN[:rwx],... (max 256).
